I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Mathematics Department at the University of British Columbia. I am also a faculty member at the Institute of Applied Mathematics at UBC . I received my PhD in mathematics from Université des Antilles in 2022. From 2022 to 2024, I worked as an Attaché Temporaire d'Enseignement et de Recherche (ATER) at IUT de la Martinique.
My research focuses on the multiscale modeling of infectious diseases and control theory applied to local and nonlocal PDEs inspired by biology. I am particularly interested in understanding the dynamics of pathogen-host systems and developing comprehensive models to analyze disease progression and control strategies. My interests also include the formulation and solving of nonlinear control problems with a deep analysis, as well as nonsmooth control problems.
If you are interested in pursuing a PhD or Master's degree at UBC in these areas, I encourage you to apply and contact me with your CV, your research interests, and a brief description of why these fields interest you.
