I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Mathematics Department at the University of British Columbia and a faculty member at the Institute of Applied Mathematics.
I earned my PhD in Mathematics from Université des Antilles in 2022. From 2022 to 2024, I worked as an ATER (Attaché Temporaire d'Enseignement et de Recherche) at IUT de la Martinique.
My research is in mathematical biology, with a focus on structured population dynamics. I study how biological mechanisms such as competition, trait variation, movement, and infection shape ecological and epidemiological systems. My work uses differential equations, nonlinear and nonlocal PDEs, and multiscale modelling to understand long-time behavior, emergent structures, and effective population-level dynamics. Applications of my work include ecology, epidemiology, and fisheries management.
Some of my previous work also concerned optimal control problems for PDEs.
